1. What We Collect
When you take the Heartilo quiz, we collect your quiz answers and an optional first name. We do not require an account, email address, or any personally identifiable information to use the quiz. If you voluntarily provide your email for result saving, we store it securely.
2. How We Use Your Data
Quiz answers are used solely to calculate your romantic personality type and generate your results. Anonymized, aggregated data may be used for research and content creation (e.g., “38% of quiz takers identify as anxious attachment”). We never sell individual data to third parties.
3. Couples Comparison
When you use the couples comparison feature, both partners' quiz results are linked via a temporary session token. Session data is automatically deleted after 30 days. No permanent account is created.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This involves cookies that track anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type). We also use cookies from our advertising partners to serve relevant ads. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
5. Advertising
Heartilo displays third-party advertisements. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings.
6. Data Retention
Quiz session data: 30 days (auto-deleted). Email addresses (if provided): until you unsubscribe. Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months).
